Wedding planning is no joke and there are many details to think about. You may think somethings are so logical, but in our years of experience we’ve been noticing some things that are commonly forgotten. We’re here to summarize them for you so you remember!

1. Cake plates and forks
Your catering will often times take care of your plates and cutlery for your dinner, but it isn’t an automatic given that they provide cake plates and forks, since a wedding cake is often times provided by a different supplier. Don’t forget to rent out this extra detail!
2. Feeding yourself and wedding party!
A wedding day is long, and while you may not feel like it or think about eating, you need to feed yourself. More importantly you need to feel your dear friends and family who are party of your wedding party. And of course, we aren’t talking about the wedding reception food, but breakfast and lunch for you and your wedding party.
4. An Overnight bag. Make sure it's in your vehicle or hotel.
Pack a bag with your sleeping and cosmetics essentials to have in your hotel or wherever you are spending your wedding night
5. Vendor overtime and Teardown crew
Research your venue rules about clean up. Check with your booked vendors if they provide this service to be prepared if you need to hire a cleaning company or not. Be aware that teardown of the décor items isn’t the same as cleaning up. It’s also important to think about the time that your event ends to keep extra fees and overtime in mind.
6. Checking available electricity ports
There are certain venues where your band may need a generator for extra power. Or in the case of a destination wedding you may be dealing with different voltage ports. In terms of set up it’s also important to know where there is electricity access.
7. Hydrate yourself
Hydrate hydrate!! Don’t forget your good friend H2O!
8. Photo wrangler
If you are set on getting certain photo combinations and or groups it’s good to point out a photo wrangler since your photographer might not know who uncle Joe is, this person can help gather the right people for the group shots, so your photo session goes smoothly and efficient.
9. Gift wrangler
Designate someone in your family to be responsible to gather all your gifts for you at the end.

13. DIY’ing your bar? Then Don’t forget Ice and bar materials.
If your bar isn’t being provided by a professional caterer or bar service company, you have more to think about then just buying your drinks and securing your servers. Don’t forget about having enough eyes, bottle openers, trash cans, stirrers and stuff to wash your glasses.?!
Think about how you are getting from your Dressing Location to your Ceremony location to your photoshoot location as well as your reception. Don’t forget to book appropriate transportation for both you and your wedding party.
15. Bringing invitations
This isn’t a must but just a bonus. Having your invitations makes for a great details shot!
